Garage NO Sale (June)

Each year, Valley Church opens its arms and doors to provide for those in need in the Greater Des Moines area by giving them the opportunity to come and pick from among thousands of gently used clothing, household goods, small appliances and furniture at no cost.  Items are donated by Valley Church attenders and volunteers.  Be a part of this great event by donating items and volunteering! 

The Great Pumpkin Party (Late October)

The Great Pumpkin Party is Des Moines' best fall family activity. The entire community is invited and it's totally free!  Spread over two nights, it's a time of excitement filled with games, inflatables, food, hayrides, candy and a magical chemistry show!  Everyone is invited to wear their non-scary costume for this unforgettable experience. 

Christmas with Friends (Early December)

Christmas is a special time to share with loved ones.  We've set aside a unique weekend for you to invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to a celebration of Christmas.  You will enjoy outstanding music and an inspiring message centering on what Christmas is really all about.

Football Outreach (Friday nights, Aug - Oct)

What better way to love those in our backyard (literally)!  For all home Valley High School and Dowling High School football games, we offer parking in our lot, free candy, hot chocolate, popcorn and pizza during and after the games.  Go Tigers! Go Maroons!

Holiday Dinner for Internationals (Nov - Dec)

Des Moines is home to many from other countries.  This is our opportunity to welcome internationals by providing a traditional American holiday meal with music and a message.  There are also activities for the children.
