Community Center

The Facilities Planning Team (FPT) for the community center were given the charge from the elders to design and construct this building to fit the ministry objective, which was created by the Vision Team, within the established financial budgetary parameters, which were developed by the A-Team members.

In early April, SVPA architects, with Scott Hatfield as the chair of the board, were employed as the design team and construction oversight.  They began working with the FPT to structure the design and construction, as well as to guide Valley Church to the facility that will be used as a tool to pursue our ministry objectives.

In May, the Love You Des Moines ministry expansion initiative was presented to the congregation.  Commitments for the three year initiative were received for nearly $3,500,000.
