Debi Lydic brings over fifteen years Christian leadership experience to the position of Women’s Ministry Director. As a Christian school administrator, Debi has enjoyed the varied opportunities of working with children, parents and staff. She is an intuitive people developer and has a passion to see women grow to their greatest potential in Christ. She looks forward to helping women become wholehearted followers of Christ. Diana grew up in a small town in the state of New York. She moved to Florida as teen and graduated from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL with a communications degree. She married her husband Ron shortly after graduating and they are blessed with a daughter, Alex and a son, Adam. After college, she worked in the insurance industry before God called her into ministry--working as the secretary of a Christian school in Delaware, Ohio for 4 years and now serving the women of Valley Church as the Assistant to the Director of Women’s Ministries. She was brought up going to church but did not come to truly know the Lord as her personal Savior until she was an adult. God truly tested her faith when He wanted her family to move to Ohio 7 years ago and then again to Iowa in 2010.  It has been a life of transitions, but God has blessed her abundantly in every step. Linda has a passion for Women's Ministry that encompasses multi-generations of women; whether single, married, young or older, Mom, Grandma or not. And for the women of Valley Church to become mature followers of Jesus Christ. She loves to plan a "party" where women can bring other women to fellowship, laugh and hear Biblical truth taught in an environment that makes women feel special! Linda is married to Mike Colby, and both of their roots are right here in West Des Moines. Mike and Linda have three married children; Michael & his wife Jenn, Jenise & her husband Travis, and Annie & her husband Tony. Their kids have given them five grandchildren. Linda loves to spend time with her growing family and practicing another one of her passions, photography.

Becky was raised in Malawi, Africa by missionary parents, graduating from high school there before coming to the states to attend university, where she met her husband, Dave. Becky and Dave have three children, Dave, Rachel, and Andrew. The Staabs have lived all over the world, including Detroit, Orlando, Bangladesh, Knoxville, and finally Des Moines! Wherever they have lived God has given Becky a place of service where she feels she has received much more than she has given, and learned more than she has taught. It will be a joy for her to learn from the women of Valley as we share our faith journeys and reach out to the world around us together!

Connie grew up on a farm in western Iowa, where her parents recognized and taught she and her sister and brothers the value of depending on God. She has been married to Dave since 1977, and they have four children; Cara, Josh, Jordan and Luke. Becky has been involved in Bible Study Fellowship, Christian Women's Club and the Women's Ministry at Valley Church, where she and Dave have been members since 1996. Connie is also a Stephen's Minister and recently served on the Global Outreach Team. Her life verse is Romans 8:28, "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."
