Perspectives January 18 – May 9
This one-night-a-week course is for everyone who wants a closer walk with the Lord and is serious about gaining a deeper understanding of God’s ultimate purpose in the world. You will discover how to strategically invest your life in seeing God glorified around the world and impact your generation. The 2016 Des Moines class is hosted at Lutheran Church of Hope. Find the details on the next Perspectives class!
Who should consider this class? All those interested in the grand story God and how they fit into His plan.

Myanmar Spring & Fall
The purpose of Business as Mission [BAM] is to release the power of business to transform people, communities and nations for the glory of God. An effective way to have influence in a country is to invest in Christian entrepreneurs, who can become successful and influential for the kingdom. Small micro-loans allow for the starting or expansion of a small businesses. Trips occur throughout the year in three phases, a new team traveling for each phase. Teams work with potential entrepreneurs on various aspects of developing running and maintaining a successful business. Those with business knowledge and backgrounds, especially those who even wondered if your giftedness would ever be beneficial on a mission trip, are encouraged to seek this opportunity.
Who should consider going? Businessmen and women looking to use their skills to train others to succeed.

Explore and Serve Des Moines JUNE 5-9
Des Moines has numerous agencies and ministries making a great difference in the city. We will serve alongside them while also expanding our awareness of how we can love the city in intentional ways. This is a family-friendly opportunity, though we do recommend children be at least 8 years old to participate.
Who should consider going? All ages, servants, those who are skilled in construction, prayer warriors, children's workers. This is well-suited for families with school-aged children.
GARAGE NO SALE july 27-29
We have adjusted this event to where we work with many partner agencies to get needed items into the hands of those who are the most needy. Become acquainted with the agencies, receive and arrange donations, and then witness how donations meet heartfelt needs!
Honduras June 24-july 2
Valley comes alongside World Gospel Outreach serving Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The team is involved with medical outreach (general medicine, dental, optical and other medical arts), construction projects, plus children's ministry and sharing the Word of God with the Honduran people through evangelism. Team members are given the opportunity to spend time working in all ministries throughout their trip. Medical backgrounds are not necessary as WGO provides any additional medical staff that we do not bring.
Who should consider going? All medical personnel, servants, those with construction skills, prayer warrior. This is suited well for families with school-aged children. Spanish speakers are a bonus.
Brussels, Belgium July 4-15
Serve the Church in Brussels’ is a connection with two of our Global Partner families. We join Brussels believers and other U.S. teams to serve through construction, leadership training, children’s ministry, and flier distribution opportunities. The ultimate goal of this trip is to strengthen and encourage believers in this strategic international city.
Who should consider going? Servant hearts, those who are construction-skilled, leadership developers, children's ministry workers. French speakers are a bonus. FYI...a significant amount of walking is involved with this trip.

Alaska July 8-16
Valley Church has come alongside the leaders at Echo Ranch Bible Camp for 16 years to repair and build facilities as the camp impacts Alaskan youth during the short, summer season. The diverse construction and mechanical skills our team offers cause a significant effect on the ministries being able to continue. This year we’re focusing on the chapel during two separate trips.
Who should consider going? Servants, various levels of construction and mechanical skills are welcome.
