6:30 - 8 pm

34th Street is the Wednesday night program for 3rd and 4th grade students at Valley Church. As students go through this two-year program, they will learn  how to grow in their relationship with Jesus and how to live out their faith in everyday circumstances.

In year one, the students will be hearing the stories of the kings of Israel and see how they can learn from the good (and bad) decisions the kings made and how those lessons can apply to their life. They will ultimately be learning that God is our true king, and we need to live for Him.

In year two, students will learn about the Fruit of the Spirit and the Armor of God. They’ll see how the Holy Spirit should be shaping them, and how they should be prepared to stand firm in their faith. They will be learning about what their life should look like if they have a genuine relationship with Jesus.

During the typical Wednesday night, 34th Street students will have a blast as they play games, enjoy small group discussion, recite memory verses, and do activities from their workbooks that are connected with the Bible lesson for the night.

If you have any questions regarding 34th Street, please contact Carter Norine.

Route 56 is a high energy, pre-youth group experience with small groups, upbeat worship, and crazy games for 5th graders.

Using Biblical teaching and active service both inside and outside the church, students understand how they can fit into the Body of Christ. Our hope is to provide opportunities for 5th grade students to know the Gospel, explore hands-on service projects, learn about their unique gifts in the Body of Christ, and participate in the work of the local church.

R – Reexamine – Give students concepts behind Biblical stories, rather than just the story itself.
O – Open Eyes – Broaden students’ horizons from themselves to their communities and world.
U – Unite – Foster a sense of community through service, activities, worship, outreach, and, small groups.
T – Train – Teach students how to share and defend their faith while serving others around them.
E – Execute – Give students opportunities to serve, impact, and reach out to their worlds.

If you have any questions regarding Route 56, please contact Jacob King.
